My brother called and said my niece, Sheridan, who is in the Navy and stationed in Japan, would be coming to the States soon. He would be back from his trip of taking a scuba diving group on an educational trip to Cuba, and I would be traveling back from Canada and Alaska.
We met up in South Dakota where my brother has Landshark Scuba, a great little dive center that takes people on trips all over the world. Yes, South Dakota can be very cold in the winter but it is also a great time to go scuba diving in the Bahamas, Mexico, Australia, and more. It is also next to Minnesota, the land of ten thousand lakes and a great place to learn to dive in the summer.
We rented a cute little ABNB so that we could all be together, enjoy each other’s company, make delicious meals together, and just have uninterrupted fun.
Family, food, and travel are some of life’s greatest rewards. I hope you are able to share love and laughter around every single one of the table’s where you sit with good food!
